Meanwhile, that U.S. Wing has sent 6 Boeing E3G sentry surveillance planes to a base in Saudi Arabia amid the ongoing conflict with Iran. But Canada has no role in Operation Epic Fury and no involvement in its planning. U.S. Democrats and some Republicans are raising concerns over the Trump administration's request for another $200 billion to fund the war, calling it a risky escalation without a clear plan. Canada maintains about 200 personnel across 6 operations in the Middle East, based on early March figures, with some recently shifted within.
