About the great American dream of personal liberty and independence. Mr and Mrs Scott arrive at the port to adopt Simon Lang a nine-year-old orphaned boy from Europe who is all set to become an American citizen. His new parents teach him all about this country and its famous countrymen and how throughout the years people have come to America for freedom.
