Adaptation of Thornton Wilder's 1938 play "Our Town".

The first radio performance of the 1938 Pulitzer Prize winning play by Thornton Wilder. There was much talk when it was first produced in the theatre because it was performed without scenery or props and with the lovable garrulous stage manager filling in gaps and explaining things as it went along. In this play Orson Welles plays that part and John Craven plays George the role he created in the original stage production.
