3:06show on demand on the iHeart app. Do you remember? We on January 27th ran a clip of Dr. Oz. He released a video. Now Dr. Mehmet Oz is the administrator. He runs the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. He's a heart surgeon, quite accomplished. He had that successful TV show as well. And Dr. Oz put out a video saying he sees an incredible number of fake hospice care facilities and a four-block radius in Van Nies. I believe it was around Van Nies, Boulevard, Victory Boulevard. We're going to play you that two-minute clip again to set this up. And then I'm going to tell you what Gavin Newsom's response was at the time. There is massive fraud here in California with these hospice care facilities. But Newsom didn't address that. He took a different route.

4:09And I'm going to play you CBS News reporter Adam Yamaguchi. He did a piece this week on Medicare, hospice fraud in California. And he found that Oz was absolutely correct. First let's play Dr. Oz's track. As you can see, these are medical buildings. They've got sterile griding, Russian Armenian writing, both sides, there's lots of action in seams. I don't know how many patients are getting care. But in this four-block area in Los Angeles, there are 42 hospices. So either there are a lot of people dying here or you've got a fraudulent activity that is so good that everyone wants to get in on it. I'm in Van Nies in Los Angeles and this boarded up area above my head here is a big hospice center. There are apparently quite a few hospices around here, 42 within a four-block radius. And these guys stole $16 million and let's see carefully, the main guy went to jail

5:13for two years. We're stealing $16 million. It's a good trade-off for a lot of folks. And if you look at it, it's pretty in the script. There wasn't anyone really in there. They weren't doing any services. They just got an address that could claim was a hospice and then they ran the business claiming people were at home getting services, which they really weren't. So we have learned there's roughly $3.5 billion of fraud taking place here in Los Angeles in hospice and home care. It's run quite a bit of it by the Russian Armenian mafia. You notice the lettering in language behind me is that dialect. And it also highlights the fact that this is an organized crime, you know, mafia deal where you've got folks who have systemically recruited doctors to write false prescriptions, you know, hundreds of doctors participating. They've got 100,000 patients who they've tricked or paid to give them their beneficiary numbers so they can perpetuate the fraud. And then the criminals are just writing the whole organization and quickly scurrying away when law enforcement does get around the prosecuting them.

6:14Unfortunately, in California, there has not been a lot of attention on these problems. That's going to change. The US Attorney, the FBI, everyone's now focused on the fact that in this state, which has about $30 billion worth of home and community-based services, most of it might be fraudulent. Those are big numbers. And we're taking it seriously. The President is not going to tolerate this anymore. That's Dr. Oz in Van Nies. Newsom's response was to file a civil rights complaint against Dr. Oz for spewing baseless and racially charged allegations by pointing out these businesses seem to be largely Russian and Armenian mafia. Stealing millions, perhaps billions of dollars, that's his response. So what's the truth? Well, CBS News reporter Adam Yamaguchi did a report this week on Medicare hospice fraud in Van Nies. Listen to what he discovers. 69-year-old Dr. Lynn Ayani just ran me up and down the pickleball court.

7:14Two years ago, she was, according to Medicare records, dying in hospice care. I was in treatment as physical therapy simply because I had had kind of an injury on the pickleball court. The administrator at the office was like, they're not going to pay any of your claims. And I was shocked. They said you're in hospice and I said, what? What are you talking about? Are you kidding me? Do I look like I'm not? She was, no, no, I know you. And when... Ayani's Medicare number had been stolen and used by a company to fraudulently enroll her in hospice care, which she obviously didn't need. That men Ayani had no coverage and no easy way of getting unenrolled from hospice. Obviously this was a major hassle. Lots of phone calls, lots of paperwork. What were the medical consequences? I was terrified. I mean, you know, something can happen. That's why you have health insurance of any kind. And just to thank you literally without coverage because of some ridiculous, fraudulent thing.

8:15My name is Adam Yamaguchi and I'm with CBS News. A CBS News investigation found an industry right for fraud, especially in California. Companies accused of overbilling. Real patients denied care. And it's costing hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars. The hospice Ayani was fraudulently enrolled in. It's called Fortuna. When we called, no one answered. The bail box is full and cannot accept any messages at this time. The state of California increased monitoring of the hospice industry four years ago, identifying the hallmarks of fraud. Fortuna has two of them and it's hardly alone. CBS News analyzed every hospice license to NLA County, more than 1700, and checked for the same warning signs the state used, like multiple hospices packed into one building, or caregivers whose patients, supposedly at that store, are discharged alive. Three years after the state crackdown, which included a moratorium on new hospice licenses, our investigation found more than 40% of agencies still show at least three of these state-defined

9:18indicators of potential fraud. So victory boulevard seems to be a hotbed of... Yep, you can't throw a rock without hitting a hospice. Sheila Clark, a hospice patient advocate, took us to what she described as the ground zero for hospice fraud, a three-mile stretch of Los Angeles that's home to nearly 500 hospice company offices. There's one hospice here that hits all six of California's red flags of possible fraud. Well, there's no hospice there. Legal office. Yeah. With a ton of mail just sitting there. Yeah, look at this. This agency, VML, hit every fraud indicator in our analysis and build Medicare roughly $49,000 per patient, about three and a half times the national average. They need their curative treatment. They need their... They're... You know, they just... They need to be taken care of. They need to know that they can get what they need when they need it. Not hit a roadblock because somebody's scammed them. The number you dial is not in service.

10:20Clark tells us, when offices like these close abruptly, it's real patients in desperate need who pay the price. How does that make you feel as somebody who deals with patients who need this? I'm sad. Really sad because I talk to them every day. I'm sorry. I can't. I wonder how they can go for a full year and still not have their license revoked. Is that a systemic failure? We need to be responsive to that side. All right. Stop right here. Yeah. Just stop this for a second. This is Rob Bonta, the attorney general that he's talking to here. Listen to the weak response from Bonta. So just roll it back a bit. I wonder how they can go for a full year and still not have their license revoked. Is that a systemic failure? We need to be responsive to the red flags and react to them, not just count them, but do something. Take action. Our main line is the accountability side, the criminal investigations, civil investigations. That's after the damage is done, though, unfortunately. State attorney general Rob Bonta says his office has brought hospice fraud criminal cases

11:24against 109 defendants at about two dozen civil cases. What would you say to citizens who are throwing up their hands and saying, how long is this going to persist? Is my government doing anything to protect my taxpayer dollars? Again, I share it. I have the frustration. So to the citizens that remain frustrated, I understand I share your frustration. Please know that we have increased our efforts. We're working over time on prevention and on accountability and we will continue until hospice fraud in California is rooted out CBS news reached out to the almost 60 hospices that have five or more flags. Many numbers were disconnected or went straight to voicemail, representatives that some others denied any fraud and said they run legitimate hospices with real patients. Back in Van Nies, we tried the hospice right next door to VML. We knocked, then called during the posted business hours. We couldn't reach anyone and we'd soon realize these operations may be connected, part

12:25of what advocates describe as a web of hospice agencies that come and go, but continue submitting a steady stream of bills to taxpayers, whether the patients are dying or like Ioni are still out playing pickleball. Do you believe this? And did you hear Rob Bonta? Oh, I share the frustrations. I have frustrations. Yeah, we need to do something about this. He didn't know some have been in office there in their eighth year. Seven and a half years. And it seems while they closed some hospices a few years ago, many, many more have opened up. And there's hundreds of millions of dollars in our Medicare tax money going down the toilet to these criminals who don't even have a phone that didn't have an office. Gavin Newsom's only response was to say he's filing a civil rights complaint against Dr. Oz because Oz had noticed it was Russian and Armenian writing on the business signs on the storefronts where all the hospice fraud was going on and this is what a psychopathic narcissist does is they deflect and change the subject because Newsom didn't know about these hundreds and hundreds of fraudulent hospices.

17:36He didn't know and then he said, well, we closed some, yeah, five years ago you did, but they all came back and then some. We just played a report from CBS News Adam Yamaguchi on rampant Medicare hospice fraud here in Los Angeles on Victory Boulevard, St. Place and Dr. Oz was right. He said was true CBS is backed it up with their own separate report and three years ago, California state auditor said LA County had seen a 1,500 percent increase in hospice companies in the last 15 years, six times the national average compared to the elderly population we have. This is more CBS News coverage because they did a print version of the story and they added extra CBS News analysis reveals that over 700 of the 1800 hospices in LA County

18:40trigger multiple red flags for fraud as defined by the state. Yeah, 40 percent are crooked and stealing money and have been for years and you heard Rob Bonta when he was approached by Adam Yamaguchi, well, yeah, we need to do something. You know, I share the frustration, I have frustration. What an empty suit he is. What I mean, I mean, I don't know below or above Newsom's 93 IQ, tough call there. It's close. I don't know, I don't know if he's below the Newsom line, maybe not using state licensing records CBS News found 75 people simultaneously employed at five or more hospice companies in LA County, 75. In the most extreme case, a single medical director has been listed as working simultaneously

19:42at 45 different hospices, 45 different hospices. The audit said a medical director's responsibility are so great. It would be difficult to hold that position. Each position is 20 to 40 hours a week. So you couldn't run more than two or three at a time. You couldn't run 45. It's all fraud and it's phony patients. There's no hospice care going on, the buildings are empty and Newsom's only response to this day is, well, I'm filing a civil rights complaint. He insulted the Armenians. He is a toddler. He's insane. He has one of the, one of the aspects of a psychopath is he has no sense of embarrassment, no sense of shame, no compassion denies everything lies about everything, changes the subject

20:45about everything, babbles incoherently and thinks nobody's caught on to them, everybody's caught on to them. You know what is approval rating is around the country, getting here, it's 27% Gavin Newsom. Karen Bass is 24% in LA. Gavin Newsom is 27% around the nation. There'll be no president Newsom and on Spencer Pratt to get it going and there'll be no mayor bass anymore. We need a new era here, we cannot have this anymore, we cannot have this anymore, this has got to stop, this has got to end this, this is mental illness. We've got more coming up, oh, I got to play a clip from Doug Bergen, he's a secretary of the interior for Trump, he gave Newsom a good shot. I'm just collecting these. It's about the high gas prices in California. Oh, I'll go, I'll go through the high gas prices too. They're really like two bucks higher than most of the states.

He's crying out for an alternative and he's going to be it. And then the other guy knew some, what do we got today when it comes to gas prices? Let's see. The national average is 357, okay. Let me scroll all the way down to the most expensive state. This is the triple A gas site, 533, yeah, 533 would be great. The station I stop at down the block in Burbank here is 579 maybe you need to go to a different station. I think I need to go to a different station, 579 down the block, 533 is the average in Kansas. It's $3.

23:50Don't even at what point is it worth driving to Kansas and fill it up and I think we need to carpool. Oh, actually, we can't our hours are different. Oh, yeah. Well, maybe you can get a waiver so we can collect gas. We can fill gas canisters with you. Should have brought some back from Arizona. Yeah, I know. I shouldn't. Well, I didn't drive this year. Texas is 324. Yeah. Wouldn't want to move to a red state 324 there, huh? Wow. Look at that. But there's, you know, there's a lot of blue states, a lot of liberal states that have much cheaper gas. Jersey's only 349. That's below the national average 350 in New York. That's below the national average. How about that? Isn't that incredible? New York and New Jersey are among the highest tax states in the nation. And they're below the national average. That's how bad we are. Let me see. Where's Florida? Oh, man, I read today about how many how many billionaires I didn't get to that story.

24:54There may be another day, billionaires are fleeing California says the New York Times going to Florida for all the, because they don't, they're not going to pay the billionaire tax for all the people. They're not going to leave the weather's too good. I have a place in Florida to the weather is great there. They're going to leave. What about Hawaii? Hawaii is, oh, Hawaii. Okay. There were what 2500 miles out in the ocean. Their gas price is 469. We're at 533. We're at 533 there 469 national average is 357. This is all just absurdly crazy. So Doug Bergen, he was the former North Dakota governor. He's a billionaire too. He's really smart. Very successful. He ran for president for a time. And Doug Bergen was named interior secretary by the, by Donald Trump. Listen to him, collector Gavin Newsom. His gas is over $7 a gallon.

25:55What do you say to him? Well, that is something coming from California because, of course, Senator Gavin Newsom. The California used to have 40 refineries. Now they have eight, two more are closing. They're going to be down to six with Chevron and Valero closing. California is the most energy dependent state in America, 63% of their oil gets imported. Now they're going to be importing refined product into San Francisco, Bay and into Long Beach every day just to keep their fleet. They have the largest number of internal combustion cars in America in California. And more than any other state even has vehicles. And of course, they've been trying to eliminate those in doing that, which then puts us dependent on China. I mean, their, their, their energy policies are as crazy as Europe. And part of the reason why their prices are so high is they've restricted supply and killed their own economy. Yeah, killed their own economy. That's why we have the highest unemployment rate, the highest inflation rate, the highest poverty rate, the worst business climate.

26:59In fact, there was another business that was leaving today. I heard, well, I can't remember another big name. Yeah, it, do you know, it also affects the military because California has more military bases and personnel than any other state. They have, they, they have at least 32 major military installations and, and, and they, they, if we, if we have a shortage of gas, because now we're importing gas from all over the globe, it actually affects our military capability here. If Newsom Newsom should suspend all state gas taxes right now, not 71 cents off the price of gas. That's what he should do. He's blaming Trump for the Iran war.

28:00Great. Knock off 71 cents to spend the gas taxes. By the way, after the war is over, it means Iran's never going to have a nuclear weapon. To fire at us. I mean, I, I mean, everybody's sick of this. The hell are we paying? And there is $7 gas at some stations. Go downtown LA said $7 gas. Why do people live like this? We don't have to live like this. They burn a big chunk of Los Angeles. They didn't have a fire department ready. We don't have a police department to stop the writing that went on over the weekend in downtown LA or busting into high-end apartment complexes. The hell's going on? Enough, enough. More coming up. Uh, the communist, Nithia ramen is behind Pratt, uh, we'll talk to him tomorrow. All right. Couple of loose ends. I mentioned that big company left California, Yamaha motor company, moving the rest of its operation to Georgia. It's selling its California assets after 47 years. It's selling all its land and offices and warehouses, everything in California. Uh, they were based in Cyprus since 1979. They're going to move to Kennesaw, Georgia at the end of the year and complete the moving process by the end of 2028 marine and motor sports.

34:17Uh, how about that? They have a 25 acre Cyprus property they're getting out. They said, can't make profit here. Need to cut costs can't, can't do business here. And it was the New York Times. No, it's the LA Times. Oh, yes, because it was their top story today, LA Times inside the Exodus of California tech billionaires to Florida, the stupid asses who run these state employee unions. One of them is the SCIU, uh, service employees, international union, and it's also United healthcare workers. They want a one time 5% tax on state billionaires. All their wealth, get up everything, their cash, their stocks, their bonds, their property of it. We get 5% and, uh, billionaires are going, no, you don't, you thought you're money. And so they're getting out and all these blockheads are good, never move yet, will are moving.

35:23Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page, uh, from Google, Sergey Brin from Google, rapidly buying a properties in Florida, California's wealth tax, according to the LA Times driving unprecedented demand for law for Florida luxury properties. Re-shapeing South Florida's economy. This is supposed to be on the ballot. It hasn't even made the ballot yet for November and already the billionaires are fleeing. According to the LA Times, all along Florida's gold coast from Palm Beach to Miami, luxury real estate brokers began fielding a torrent of urgent calls from tech executives and their associates, they want to see what houses they could buy before the end of the year to officially establish residents to preserve their wealth. Florida already has 115 billionaires, no state income tax, pro business policies and great weather. It has drawn an unusually large number of the California tech moguls, good.

36:27And you know how much, you know how much money they put into the treasury. The top one percent in the state pays 40% of the income tax. So you're going to kiss a huge chunk goodbye dumbasses, self destructive dumbasses, these union leaders unbelievable. It is not your money. You didn't earn it. Did you start Google? What did you do? United healthcare workers. Let me guess people who empty bedpads and they're telling they had a Google, oh, you can't, uh, the founder of Google, uh, we want your money. Yeah, I know you started Google, but you know, we empty bedpads. Okay. You know, well, you can tell Zuckerberg. Did you do Facebook? You started Facebook? No, I don't think so. No, I think you're mopping floors, which is fine work. No, but work. You don't get to tell billionaires that you, you take their money because you feel like

37:28it because you're, you're so jealous, um, PayPal, Palantir, co founder, Peter Teal. He's buying a property venture capitalist, Keith, Rob Watt, Jeff Bezos, uh, yeah, did you start Amazon? No, I don't think you started Amazon, right? Um, who else oracles, Larry Ellison, they've all bought massive properties out of the state, uh, Andy Fang, co founder of DoorDash, yes, all these losers that use DoorDash every day, stupid wealth proposals like this make it irresponsible for me not to plan to leave the state. Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, paid $170 million for a two acre estate, uh, near Miami, Wells Fargo, leaving its wealth management division moving from San Francisco to West Palm Beach. So, what else do you want to know?
