BYU Lands Towering Transfer, Strengthens Frontcourt

0:00On April 25, BYU just landed a 6-foot 11-big man from TCU, Adam Stewart, who's committing back to the Cougars. This transfer adds serious size to the front court without touching the 15-player roster lemon. Stewart first pledged to BYU back in April 2022, right before heading out on a mission to Paris, France. After that, he suited up for TCU over the last two seasons. He's got deep ties to Provo engaged to BYU volleyball standout Rachel Jepsen, which made this homecoming feel like destiny for both sides. The real bonus here is his status as a designated student athlete from the walk on days, so he slides in as a free 16th man, just like Jared. McGregor did before him. Expect Stewart to bring that post-presence and familiarity right away, strengthening BYU's rebuild on the boards.
