Uk: У місті, де весна розквітала запахом квітучих дерев, місцеві жителі готувалися до особливого дня.
En: In the city where spring blossomed with the scent of flowering trees, the local residents were preparing for a special day.

Uk: Шкільна виставка наукових проектів була подією, на яку чекали всі учні.
En: The school science fair was an event all the students were eagerly waiting for.

Uk: Сонячне світло освітлювало простору залу, де розгорнули свої проекти школярі.
En: The sunlight illuminated the spacious hall where the schoolchildren had set up their projects.

Uk: Леся стояла біля свого столу, відчуваючи легке хвилювання.
En: Lesia stood by her table, feeling a slight apprehension.

Uk: Вона підготувала проект про метаморфози метеликів, чимось наче продовжуючи традицію бабусі, котра навчила її любові до біології.
En: She had prepared a project about butterfly metamorphosis, in some way continuing the tradition of her grandmother, who had taught her the love for biology.

En: Looking at the bright project of Kateryna, Lesia felt a certain insecurity.

Uk: Дмитро, її давній друг, завжди був поруч.
En: Dmytro, her longtime friend, was always by her side.

Uk: "Не хвилюйся, Лесю, усе буде добре.
En: "Don't worry, Lesiu, everything will be fine.

Uk: Просто покажи, що ти любиш це", – підбадьорливо сказав він.
En: Just show that you love it," he said encouragingly.

Uk: Його присутність дарувала їй сили.
En: His presence gave her strength.

Uk: Великдень, що наближався, теж додавав картині теплоти.

Uk: Разом вони впоралися із завданням, і виступ минув успішно.
En: Together they managed the task, and the presentation went successfully.

En: After the exhibition, the hall was filled with applause.

Uk: Леся відчувала радість – не лише через те, що прийшла другою, відразу після Катерини, а тому, що перевершила свої страхи та змогла виступити.
En: Lesia felt joy – not only because she came second, right after Kateryna, but because she had overcome her fears and was able to present.

Uk: Повертаючись додому, Леся думала про бабусю.
En: On her way home, Lesia thought about her grandmother.
