Jan de Jong is a serial entrepreneur from the Netherlands who made a life for himself in Croatia over the past 15 years. Croatia has become his home, and alongside building his businesses there, he also recognized an opportunity to help boost the country’s economy via the rise of remote work. He has gone on to co-found the Digital Nomad Association of Croatia, and played a key role in assisting the government with the creation of the widely praised Croatian digital nomad visa.
