Bruins Show Respect to Retiring Kopitar

The Boston Bruins showed huge respect to Los Angeles Kings captain, and a copotar after their game on Tuesday. The Bruins pulled out a two-to-one win and over time against the Kings at TD Garden. Instead of heading off right away, the whole team and coaches stayed on the ice for handshakes with copotar. It might have been his last time facing the Bruins there. His head coach, Marco Sturm, who assisted with the Kings from 2018-22, wrapped up the line with a big hug for the veteran. Earlier this year in September, copotar announced he plans to retire at the end of the season. He has spent all 20 of his NHL seasons with the Kings and has worn the captain's patch since 2016.
