Bruce Banner Teaches Science in New Spider-Man Trailer

Fans spotted Bruce Banner back in human form in the new Spider-Man, brand new day trailer. He's wearing a small wrist device that keeps him from turning into Hulk. Instead of his usual smart Hulk look, Banner appears as a regular guy teaching science at Empire State University. This inhibitor gadget is something Banner invented to block gamma radiation and stay human. He first used similar tech in Shang-Chi and the legend of the Ten Rings to heal his arm. Later in Shi-Hulk, Attorney-A-Law, it helped after his smart Hulk state became permanent. That change happened because of a car crash involving a secarned ship which wrecked his original device and forced him back into full Hulk mode. Now this redesigned version fits neatly on his right wrist, showing he rebuilt it since those events. In the trailer, Peter Parker tracks him down for advice on a big mutation crisis. Banner's role as a civilian scientist puts him right in the middle of the action while the inhibitor holds back any Hulk outbursts.
