Browns Strengthen Defense with Kalia Davis

In 2025, their defense ranked 14th in fewest points allowed, but fourth in fewest yards given up. That got pointed to an offense that often left them defending short fields and wearing down fast. To bolster their defensive line depth, the Browns added former San Francisco 49er, Kalea Davis. He's a 6 foot 2, 310 pound tackle taken in the sixth round out of UCF back in 2022. After missing his rookie year with a torn ACL, he worked into the rotation and started 17 games last season. Fans and analysts see this as smart insurance behind starters Mason Graham and Malik Collins, especially after losing Shelby Harris in Sam Camara. Davis brings career totals of 41 tackles, five tackles for loss, one and a half sacks, and even a pick off Patrick Mahomes. His role fits as a reliable backup who can spell the front line.
