Alright, so the Cleveland Browns are getting some speed back in their receiving core, and it's happening right before they kick off the season. White receiver Isaiah Bond is back at practice after being sidelined for over two weeks in concussion protocol. If all goes well, he should be ready to go for their opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday. Bond took a hit during a preseason game back on August 22nd, and initially seemed okay, but then symptoms popped up, landing him in protocol. He only had a couple of touches before leaving that game, but his speed is something the Browns offense has been missing. Last year, Bond was an undrafted guy who made the roster and played in 16 games, showing flashes with his big playability, averaging almost. 19 yards per catch. He's been working on adding some muscle this off season, aiming to be more than just a deep threat. Even with Bond back, there's still a lot of competition that receiver.

1:02The Browns drafted two guys early, KC Concepts the Ome, and Denzel Boston, and they also brought in Jerry Judy. But Bond's pure speed could still carve out a role for him, especially with how they plan to use him. This is all happening as the Browns get ready to see DeShon Watson back under center for his first regular season game since October of last year. The team needs that connection with their receivers to click fast, especially with their revamped group and Watson looking to bounce back.
