Browns Re-sign Punter Bojorquez, Strengthen Trenches

0:00On March 12th, the Cleveland Browns kicked off free agency by revamping their offensive line. General manager Andrew Berry brought in offensive tackle, tied his Howard, guard Zion Johnson, and guard center Elton Jenkins. He also resigned guard Tiven Jenkins. With offensive tackle Dewan Jones set for a key role, they've hit their top priority spot on the roster. Free agency keeps moving though, and the team skipped tendering offers to a few key players. That leaves gaps, including a punter, which hasn't gotten as much buzz as needs at wide receiver or quarterback. Fans and media have zeroed in on the line upgrades, but Punter Corey Bojorquez's free agency status raised eyebrows. Last season, Cleveland Special Teams unit under coordinator Bubba Ventrone had a rough go, and Bojorquez ranked near the bottom in net punting yards, while tying for the most touchbacks. Earlier this week, Bojorquez hit free agency, but Wednesday night he posted on social media that he's coming back to the Browns.
