Browns' QB Battle: Watson, Sanders, Gabriel

New coach Todd Monkin is spacing the same old drama, with the Sean Watson, Shedder Sanders, and Dylan Gabriel all battling for the top spot this, offseason. Monkin wants some real answers coming out of spring practices, narrowing down reps to focus on likely starters while keeping the competition alive. He knows they can't drag this out forever, if they want to build momentum. Fans and insiders are buzzing because none of these guys have stand out recent tape to lock it down. Watson missed all of last year, with an Achilles. Tear from October 2024, Gabriel started just six gains before getting benched, and Sanders took over for the final stretch, snagging A. Controversial Pro Bowl nod, despite a three and four record. Senator Jimmy Haslam is now hyping Watson as having a fresh shot under this offensive-minded coach, a total flip from calling the trade a swing and miss.
