Kennedy Jr. unveils sweeping proposals aimed at stopping so-called “gender affirming care” for minors, threatening to cut federal funding for hospitals that perform the procedures. Former NASCAR star Greg Biffle, his wife, two children, three others are killed in a fiery private jet crash in North Carolina, as investigators comb through wreckage to determine what went wrong. The latest inflation report beats expectations, dropping below 3% and offering a boost to the White House as it touts a strengthening economy.
