Broncos Let Krull, Henningsen Hit Free Agency

They're skipping the lowest tender, which would have cost them $3,547,000. This move opens the door for a cheaper resigning down the line. Meanwhile, the team is also passing on a tender for defensive line in Matt Hinningson, sending him to unrestricted free agency too. Crowle, a big 6-foot 6-260-pound target, played three seasons in Denver with modest numbers, 29 catches for 200, 62 yards and one touchdown over 23 games. Fans might see this as salary cap housekeeping, especially after last year's limited action for Crowle in just three games. It frees up resources for other priorities as the Broncos reshaped their roster. On the flip side, they've locked in cornerback Joaquin McMillian with a second-round tender and handed a two-year extension to offensive lineman Alex, Paul Shesky.
