It kicked off with deep dives into the post-code lottery for temporary housing placements and frequent lift failures in high rises that leave residents. Stuck inside for weeks. These investigations reveal how uneven council policies force families bar from home often across the country. Hundreds of Londoners shared their ordeals with mold-infested blocks, pest problems, and shoddy new builds. The work has struck a chord, blending solid reporting with powerful personal accounts to drive public awareness and push for real fixes. In response, the team is advocating four main reforms, a standard distance limit for temporary housing across England, protections against losing aid.
