Escalated The rebook flight fell through, too, on Thursday, March 12th. Now they're running low on cash and facing steep prices to get home on their own. Quotes for alternative flights have hit as high as 8,000 pounds, which they say is impossible to afford. The airline is giving passengers options like two free-day changes within 14 days of the original ticket, a full refund, or waiting for. Possible repatriation flights starting in April.
