On April 9th, British Airways is scaling back its Middle East flights because of the ongoing tensions there, while shifting those planes to boost, routes to India and Kenya. They're resuming service to Riyadh in mid-May, and then Dubai, Doha and Tel Aviv on the 1st of July, but with fewer flights each day. They're cutting Dubai from three daily trips to just one, and dropping Doha, Tel Aviv and Riyadh from two to one per day. Jetta in Saudi Arabia is off the schedule for good starting April 24th, and Bahrain plus Amman are on hold until October 25th. Larnaca in Cyprus bounces back May 22nd. The airline has been helping thousands get home since the conflict kicked off, running relief flights and adding seats on long haul paths. They're in touch with affected passengers, offering options, and keeping everything under close watch. Now they're deploying bigger jets to Delhi and Hyderabad from June 1st, plus extra daily flights to Bengaluru and Nairobi through late October.
They're also ramping up Delhi and Mumbai over the summer. BA plans to keep tweaking routes as things evolve, making sure they feel those skies were demand hits hardest.
