Britain's Warmest Day of the Year

This comes right after Q Gardens recorded 18.7 degrees recently, but Thursday could top that record. A band of cloud and rain will move across western areas toward the east. While spots to the east stay mostly clear with plenty of sunshine until the rain arrives. After a tough February that was one of the dullest and wettest on record, people are welcoming this shift. The month brought 70% more rain than usual in England, saturated ground in the south and center, and unusually mild nights across 21 counties. Friday looks cloudier for much of England and Wales, with temperatures dropping to 11 or 12 degrees Celsius.
