Brisker Wears 3 for Steelers, Honoring Yinzer Roots

Safety Jaquan Briskar, born and raised in the Steel City, just revealed he'll wear number three for the team. That number honors his days at Gateway High School in Monroeville. Briskar kicked off his college career at Lacawana College in 2017. He transferred to Penn State in 2019 and shown there until the Chicago Bears drafted him in the second round of the 2022 NFL. Draft. He's earned a reputation as one of the league's top tackling safeties. Now, he'll bolster a stacked secondary that includes Joey Porter, Jr., Jamel Dean, Asante Samuel Jr., Jalen Ramsey, and Dishon Elliott. Earlier this week, Briskar shared the jersey news with reporters. It's a nod to his Jinser roots and a sign he's ready to make an impact.
