Brewers Lose to Reds, Bullpen Shines in Spring Training

The Milwaukee Brewers lost 6-3 to the Cincinnati Reds in spring training yesterday afternoon. That drops their record below 508 wins and 9 losses, marking their second straight defeat. Cincinnati got on the board fast with home runs from Gary Sanchez and others off-starred a rubber gasser. The Reds built a 5-2 lead by the end of the third inning after gasser allowed four early runs. Brewers fans saw some positives amid the struggles. Sanchez went 2-3 with a 2 run homer. Reese McGuire added his first long ball of the spring and the team drew 5 walks alongside 9, hits total. The Milwaukee Bullpen stepped up big time after that rough start. Relievers like Trevor McGill and Craig Yeoho combined for scoreless innings from the 4 through the 7th, striking out several Reds hitters.
