When I got the message, confirmation, rate, and procedures....I couldn't help but realize that this would be the biggest breakthrough in my family tree. Yes, I come from a lower-class family, and it was easier to burn money rather than spend it. However, in 2007, I made the conscious effort to save money, which paid me hugely in dividends with a life-changing travel to Australia.  12 years later, I've reached a stage in my life whereas I'll never look back on frugality and financial worry. Now comes a new stage of my life -- but am I prepared?
