These deals focus on tooling and precision parts for electric vehicle electrification. The company, which has been around for 164 years, employs 67 people at its new town site. This comes just months after a management buyout in September, when Brandauer announced plans to shift into long-term engineering partnerships. The contracts cover everything, from early design advice to full production, including toolmaking and automation. Leaders at the firm see this as a major step toward hitting 12 million pounds in revenue by 2029. It builds on recent investments in design and automation skills, drawing interest from clients in automotive and beyond, like defense and aerospace. For the Ford Project, Brandauer is building its first progression tool, with built-in automation to stamp and bond parts for electric vehicles.
