Bradds Returns Home to Belmont, Blends Pro & College

0:00On March 19, Duke assistant basketball coach Evan Bradz is stepping up as the new head coach for the Belmont Bruins men's team. The 31-year-old Ohio native just wrapped his first season helping out at Duke, where he focused on developing top freshman talent. Before Duke, Bradz built a solid resume in the NBA. He started with the Boston Celtics organization, working as an assistant and video coordinator for their G-League team, then moved up to player. And under coaches, Brad Stevens and Emay Udoca. In 2022, he joined the Utah Jazz in player development at Belmont, his alma mater. Bradz shown as a player over four standout seasons. The six-foot seven forward earned two Ohio Valley conference player of the year honors led the nation in field goal percentage twice and picked up.
