1:04college football is not going on this weekend. I know that there's a lot to talk about. Let's start with your college football picks. Tonight we'll play Rutgers plus three. I'm not going to get in the much on this. I think it's just an overreaction. How bad they looked in week one. A little bit of a bounce back spot. So if you want some Friday night action, we're taking Rutgers plus the fuel goal. Big ones on Saturday. I'm going to play Texas on a cheap money line minus one 16 over Ohio State. Everyone looks at Texas. They see the nine and three team that missed the playoff. Archmaning didn't meet expectations. Who could? The expectations were ridiculous. So now you get a chance to buy low. They lose 14 seven in Columbus last year against a Buck Eiss team that had four players drafted in the first 11 picks. Three of which played defense. Cam Coleman transfers over from Auburn to join the Texas receiving ranks. The red zone still concerns me for Sarkeesian, but we are going to play the long horns there on the money line. Oklahoma and Michigan. That's a dead shot under 43 and a half. I don't expect a lot from Michigan's offense against the top three.

2:05Sooners defense. I do think the sooner struggle a little bit against the Michigan offense in Ann Arbor. So we'll play the under there. Oregon State is catching 26 and a half against Texas. Texas Texas. Six days from that game on Friday night. They're going to host Houston in one of their biggest games of the year. This game's in Corvallis. Tough travel spot. Get in, handle your business. Get out. So we'll take all the points. And then Bama and Kentucky. We're going to go over 48 and a half of this Kentucky team. They're going to surprise some people with how they can score. And I think Bama is going to keep their pace as well. So the college card reasonable this week with like Rutgers tonight. Texas under an Oklahoma Michigan. Oregon State. And then the over in Bama, Kentucky. Love it. Okay, get to get to your NFL picks. The clock is ticking. We can't wait for Bears football, but I know a lot of great games this weekend too. Do we want to run through the games and then we'll go to the Bears? Yeah, let's do that. I think so. Yes. Oh, man. Imagine if I picked the Panthers, you guys set this up very, very poorly. Stand on a very bad note.

3:07More on that in just a moment. Okay, so here's what we're going to rip through. Oh, no. Number one, Holtz plus three and a half over the Ravens. I think this line's going to move. Come kick off. Home dog Shane Stuykin 17 and seven against the spread in September and October. His team start fast. One of the best offenses in the NFL last year until the injuries. People sleep it on Indy overvaluing a new coaching staff in Baltimore. Give me the Colts plus three and a half. Give me the Jets plus one and a half against Tennessee. They're better in the trenches. They're more experienced at quarterback. I don't trust that coaching staff at all in Tennessee. It's two coordinators in a head coach, all of which have been head coaches before, all of which have failed. Eagles commanders under 44 and a half. I don't think Washington's offense is going to do a whole lot against this Philly defense. Philly offense remains to be seen under yet a new offensive coordinator. Houston over the bills. I like him first half. I like him full game. CJ Stroud has been incredible. Something like 36 and 16 against the number in the first half in his career. Bill's deploying a new defense. Jim Leonard likes to play a lot of single high safety.

4:08That coverage Stroud has been very good against throughout his career. He's 18 pounds lighter. He's playing for a new contract. I am buying low on CJ Stroud in the Texans. I have him in the AFC championship game. Green Bay Minnesota. That's an under 46 and a half. I don't expect a lot from Green Bay with that O line playing on the road. No Josh Jacobs. Some questions at wide receiver. I like the Cowboys a little bit on Sunday night. Now that it's three and we're not going to go have Monday night football under 43 and a half. Broncos and chiefs. So we like the Colts, the Jets, the Under and the Eagles game. We like the Texans in the first half Texans full game. We like the Under and Packers Minnesota. We like the Cowboys a little bit. We like the Under and Monday night football. Wow. Those are some great picks, Joe. The second one with the Joe Fort and Bob Boyle. Do you even think his people are driving around the great city of Chicago right now? Are they even able to process how many picks were shoving into their cerebral cortex right now? There's so many. I try to repeat them. I feel bad for some of you out there. They're really right. I got to figure out how to bet against this guy. We got the rewrite feature.

5:08We got people taping it and we got Dustin right and everything down because he's got his pencil and his paper out. He's doing it old school way, Joe. He's a junior, a junior. He's a true degenerate. I come on the show. I give him everything I've got and then he'll text me tonight. He'll want more. He'll text me tomorrow. He'll want more. Do you have anything in boxing? Do you have anything in UFC? He likes to get after it. That young man deserves a lot of credit. Yeah, I guess we can grudgingly give him a lot of credit. But yes, I think he's waiting for you. What is going to happen, Sunday in Carolina? I'm nervous. So I got to tell you, I haven't done anything with the game yet. I'm still evaluating it in terms of whether or not I'm going to get involved as you've already heard. My card for the weekend is quite robust. I would like to not dig a very large hole to open the season if things go, hey, why are you on me here? I can tell you, I think the pros are going to be lining up on Carolina here. I know no one wants to hear that. The big elephant in the room is the Chicago defense.

6:10Last year, they benefited, as you know, from number one and takeaways, number one in turnover differential. They're ringing Kobe Bryant, but there's an injury there. There's a lot of question marks. I love the coach. I love the quarterback. I think there's so much upside with this team. But to go on the road in week one and to lay more than a field goal, I don't have a ton of confidence in Carolina, but they came on stronger in the second half of last season. All I know right now, and I have not bet this game, but I do believe you have a pro contingent that's going to line up on Carolina here. This is very much probably going to be the pros versus Joe's game of the week. I think you're going to have the public on the Ravens and some of the sharps on the Colts. I think you're going to have the public all over the Bears in this matchup. And then you're going to have the pros lining up on Carolina. If you want a risky survivor picked by the way, the Raiders. Over, I think it's what Miami. I'm rolling the dice. Foreign ball is rolling the dice in week one. I'm getting agri-a-sive, as Teddy KGB would say. And I'm going to go ahead and play the Raiders. But back to the Bears, that's where we land.
