Daryl McKeever collided with a car in February 2023, while riding with friends, ending up with brutal head injuries that had everyone on, edge. Emergency team swarmed the scene fast, with ambulances and a rapid response crew from the helicopter emergency medical service on site. They induced a coma right there to stabilize him, then raced Daryl to the Royal Belfast Hospital for sick children, where doctors told his parents he might never walk, talk, or feed himself again. His family washed him grind through months of tough physio and speech therapy, rebuilding skills one by one and reclaiming his independence step by.
