2:02We've got a long way to go to catch the likes of Colorado and Arizona State and even West Virginia and the linebackers being drafted category, but however, if you look at recent success in the NFL as it pertains to cowboy linebackers, whether it be a man among Amiga getting another year or Malcolm Rodriguez getting massive moments or Devon Harper or now that you have Colin Oliver and Nick Martin, there is a plethora of cowboy linebackers still in the NFL right now. If Scott or Cassidy can take some of that success that some of those cowboys have had and now take this Oregon, get right conversation and present it to recruits across the country. Why not bottle it up and feed it to a place where you can have a legitimate argument to why it receiver you to a place that has a legitimate argument to RB you the LBU conversation. It could be somewhat new, but after Tate Romney has identified that Dante Moore has some

3:05tales that show the difference between the past game and the read option game for them and then Ethan Musoski being able to pick up on that and being able to explain it to some of the other linebackers in the room. It makes a really big difference not only in what scholar Cassidy can now pitch to recruits coming to Oklahoma State, but it also increases both of their NFL capabilities when you're looking at potential green dot guys like Malcolm Rodriguez has been already in the NFL. You're looking at the high IQ right the cerebral side of the game to not only be able to diagnose the play as it's happening in real time in front of them, but also to pick up those little tendencies right is this tackle shaded one inch too far to the left when there's going to be the toss to that side of the field. Those little minute details quite often get lost in the shuffle. So to know that we've got a couple different linebackers that were able to go through the Oregon film and pinpoint some of the tells that they had so much so that now even Joe Klaat was

4:10inspired by Tate Romney and Ethan Musoski to go back and look at the last two years of Oregon film and he has now come out and said I found even more tells. So what Oklahoma State was looking at because of that linebacker room bringing it to everyone's attention, this is a good thing for Oregon that it's been brought up now and it is we need Oregon now to go on and have a really good season. So when the conversation pops up of why would Oklahoma State linebackers even publicly put that out there that Oregon does have a tail offensively to know when there's going to be a run as opposed to when there's going to be a pass. Well, it's because now they get to strengthen our schedule right now they get to take that big Oregon duck cache and help the Cowboys out for the remainder of the season and that's big. It's a big thing to sell to future recruits that scholar Cassidy loves the kiss method. He loves intentionality. He loves physicality. He loves violence of action, but more than anything, he loves a high IQ because a lot of

5:13us were insanely excited to not only get Ethan Musoski coming in because he brought in those Malcolm Rodriguez level numbers from North Texas and then we go get Isaiah Chism who had 173 tackles at UCLA over the last couple of years, including 84 tackles alone last year. And I think a lot of us just automatically assumed, okay, you've got Ethan Musoski and NFL level linebacker and then you've got Isaiah Chism who's obviously got the capabilities to being NFL level linebacker as well. We're going to be okay and then you bring in Tate Romney for a good depth piece and then throughout Spring Camp and Fall Camp, you hear that actually Tate Romney has passed Isaiah Chism and Tate Romney is going to be the guy sitting next to Ethan Musoski and then you hear stories like this about how originally it was Tate Romney that I guess brought it to Ethan Musoski's attention and then Ethan was even to say, okay, well, let's expound upon that, right?

6:13Let's take what Tate was able to see and add new wrinkles to it and new tales and new layers to give to the rest of the defense and things like that are why we played so well defensively. Reasons like that are why Isaiah Chism was able to fly around with reckless abandon without having to thank a whole lot because we've got multiple green dot dudes in the linebacker room. And the scholar Cassidy already has familiarity with Oklahoma State going back to his brothers days here. So I'm sure that he knows good and darn well when he goes out to make a recruiting pitch. He knows all about Devon Harper and Malcolm Rodriguez and Abe Mungbamyga and obviously Nick Martin and Colin Oliver and look what we did last year with window Gregory. Yeah, he's going to be a problem for us in the big 12 this year, but those are things that can be bottled up and fed now to recruit. So you're not only coming to be part of the cowboy culture, you're not only coming to be part of the rebuild, the rebrand to get Oklahoma State back to where they used to be

7:17more often than not, which was in the top 10 top 15 top 25 conversation every single year, every single week. But now you can also take this Oregon game and say, you know what, not only did we beat Oregon with a really good game plan, not only did we fly around 88% of the time successfully in almost every play, but we also diagnosed something for Oregon and then publicly put it out there to help Oregon for the rest of the season because we're not gatekeepers of information. We're only trying to get the best of our players pulled out on the football field and pulled out of the film room. But don't get it twisted. This is something that can now become infectious. This is something that can now get Oklahoma State into that conversation because Texas Tech right now may have an argument to LVU. I'm sure a lot of us got to see what Jacob Rodriguez is able to do already in the NFL as

8:21a green dot guy right away. This is the same conversation that now NFL scouts can be saying about Tate Romney and Ethan Ososki. There was never a questioning of the talent behind Ethan Ososki. It was always going to be well, is he going to be able to make the jump? And if he can make the jump is his athleticism and his IQ going to be good enough to make the next jump to the NFL. It's only one game. It's a small sample size. But at least from the green dot IQ side, that question has been answered. And this is not a surprise for a Tate Romney as we've discussed before he is a multiple time BYU legendary legacy. He comes from a football family that played at massive, massive levels. BYU is a bona fide certified P4 level team, even if though, even if they never got the ticket to the cool kid club until the big 12 come around, they've always performed at that level more often than not.

9:23They've always had schedules that were indicative of being at that level. So it shouldn't be a massive surprise that Tate Romney, who's basically been a film junkie for the last handful of years, due to injuries after his mission, can look at this film and say, you know what, I see something here. I see something different. I see something special. I see something that can allow us an opportunity to tee off on Oregon before they even know what hits him. So hopefully, Scott or Cassidy can in fact, bottle this and feed it to the rest of the locker room because I think we've got some really talented guys coming up. And for them to be able to see what is happening in front of them, it's massive for their development for guys like Carl Veyon Young and Gunnar Wilson and Trip White to see what Tate Romney and Ethan Muslowski and Isaiah Chism can already diagnose at an advanced level

10:24and then give it to their teammates and then find it in the game planning. Scott to give them a ton of confidence going forward just like this whole conversation should give scholar confidence to go out on the recruiting trail and say, look what we're doing right now on the NFL. Look at the rich history and tradition under my gun. And look what our linebacker room was able to do in that game. Look what our linebacker room does from a green dot IQ perspective. You always want to be able to sales pitch the next round of linebackers. One of that is being a green dot guy because without that green dot guy, Malcolm Rodriguez would not have played and started as many games as he did in the very beginning of his career. It is that cerebral capability to go alongside the athleticism, the tenacity, the physical background of being a wrestler. It took all of that to get Malcolm Rodriguez opportunities, but here's the biggest benefit.

11:25Malcolm Rodriguez was always knocked for his size. Ethan Musoski maybe knocked a little bit, but he's not 5'11 like Malcolm was. Tade Romney's obviously not 5'11 like Malcolm was. He's more in that calling all of our kind of conversation. So this could be a massive moment that we all look forward to later on and say, yeah, remember, I remember the day that the recruiting aspects of Oklahoma State changed. Yeah, I remember the day, the game, the time, the week that Oklahoma State's defense coordinator could now go sales pitch something entirely different to recruits out there all across the country. Now, we do know that kale was heavily involved in some like the analytical stuff. And he was involved in some of the recruiting pitches that were happening, especially locally in the state of Oklahoma. But he never took that official spot. And then obviously we changed a lot of things in my gun, he's last year to try to reinvigorate that locker room for whether or reason it didn't come together. That's okay. The conversation is about my gun, he's still being the goat will never change. The conversation is about my gun, he being the goat of big eight quarterback play also will likely never change. But then it was always a conversation of okay, well, when is the time to build a statue? How long is it going to take my gun to not be as frustrated with the way things transpired at the end of his tenure here before he's wanting to come back in the boom picking state

15:34it before he's going to want to be part of the big unveiling of the inevitable statute. And before any of that can breathe for longer than a year, kale gun, he's already out here talking crap on Dremessemaker. And it is kind of frustrating, right, because this is a dude that has seen a ton of NFL quarterbacks come through the OU program. And for him to go on the sports animal and start talking about how Dremessemaker doesn't have the arm strength or what did he say? He said above average to average arm strength, basically he's got a wet new to love and arm. And he went on to say that yeah, there is a big difference between the Tulsa game and the Oregon game. And even though the Scouts came to watch that Oregon game, if they were leaving talking about Dremessemaker, it probably wouldn't be of the NFL variety because he doesn't think

16:37that NFL Scouts would have left watching Dremessemaker saying yeah, that's an NFL level dude. And I think that this is clearly just animosity and butt hurt speaking, which I honestly think is a little bit of a shame for Kale Gundy because he does have at the source of football knowledge that most of us won't even be able to acquire in a lifetime, which is why I also do not believe that Kale Gundy does believe that Dremessemaker has a new to arm that is only barely college worthy. We've talked quite a bit in the offseason in regards to not goofy dudes like me saying that Dremessemaker's a top 10, top 15 NFL talent, but it was a lot of the publications and a lot of the NFL Scouts that were projecting Dremessemaker to be that level of dude. Did we get to see it against Tulsa? No, but we also didn't get to see him push the ball down the field either.

17:39So I think it's a shame that Kale Gundy is out here pushing this nonsense because I think he knows good and darn well that there's not a throw on the football field that Dremessemaker cannot make. There's obviously an athletic component to Dremessemaker that most of us didn't foresee coming or at least not to this degree. And then he did it against a bona fide certified top 10 top 15 level pick in Dante Moore. And while a lot of publications are praising Dremessemaker and while there has been a lot of publications projecting him his the number eight overall pick the number nine overall pick and a couple of different publications both had him in the number 14 overall pick to the Steelers before this Oregon ballgame. And it now kind of I think tarnishes that conversation of well when is the right time for the statue and how long is it going to take for my Gundy to not have any animosity towards the

18:42way things transpired? Is it a year is it two years is it three years of five years? I don't know but I do know that his brother getting on Oklahoma radio stations and calling Dremessemaker a barely above average arm and then going on to say that he's seen a bunch of NFL talent of course yes but then to say that he knows that NFL talent is not leaving glowing about the prospects of Dremessemaker and the NFL. A six foot four two hundred twenty pound quarterback that clearly just showed he can run to was dropping insane dimes against Oregon one of the fastest teams that we will face all year some of those throws off of his back foot a lot of those throws were perfect timing like we talked a lot about that what's what separates Drew from a lot of quarterbacks is it ability is ability words are hard to put the ball in a place that not very many quarterbacks in the country

19:46can do we saw that against Oregon but apparently Kell Gunney didn't see it or maybe this is worth mentioning maybe Kell Gunney didn't even watch the darn ballgame because for him to be around all of the legends that he has during his OU career and then to turn around after what we did to Oregon and say yeah they may have beaten Oregon but he's got a weak arm and I know that you know he's probably not being viewed by NFL scouts as a legitimate NFL talent I think you should allow your butt hurt to show through less mr. Kell Gunney because it's not gonna expedite the statue in the Hall of Fame and and everything that your brother does deserve like my gunny's done a pretty good job of staying out of the public eye and not giving opinions on Oklahoma state or Eric Morris or

20:47anything that's happening in still water maybe it's to let this whole thing breathe but it's hard to envision that Kell Gunney still feels this way and still feels so but hurt that he's willing to make insane statements that Drew Mestemaker isn't an NFL quarterback because he doesn't have an NFL arm and he's barely got in above average arm as it pertains to other top quarterbacks in college I don't like it I think it's a bad look for kale and unfortunately it's kind of a bad look to some degree for Mike because you got an vision that when they have dinner table talks my gunny probably doesn't have a lot of great things to say about the administration at Oklahoma state and that's fine but we're trying to all get to a place where there's not animosity and we can welcome my gunny back and we can unveil the statue and we can put them up in the Hall of Fame ring of honor whatever

27:10so they're going to come in swinging guns of blazing and ready to give us all that we can handle the one position group that we've seen a lot of rotation that we hope to see more rotation is probably the position group that's about to get tested the best so Murray state you think typically when you're talking about fcs opponents right there's often a massive differentiation up front the big body beasts down low are typically way way bigger and way way stronger at the power four level as opposed to the lower levels Murray state is a little bit of an exception and this needs to be slightly concerning because we had this talk about Tulsa right camis their left guard coming over from old miss was going to be a problem their center come over from multiple starts at Purdue probably going to be a problem they had some other p4 offensive alignment including hunter herb who is the guard that came over from Texas saying in like we knew that they were going to have some dudes that prevented us from living in the backfield but I

28:13don't think any of us for saw it being as difficult as it was well Murray state's going to have the same kind of conversational pieces right one of their starting guards quarter stoward six foot eight three hundred forty five pounds from Virginia Tech six foot six three hundred thirty pounder Daniel Coles right next to him as a sophomore out of Jonesboro Arkansas Sloan Bass six foot three two hundred ninety five pounder out of Brentwood Tennessee to here fuck all six five three thirty out of Lawrenceville Georgia that's her naggle six foot eight three hundred and eighteen pounds out of St. Louis Missouri Jake coffee six two two eighty all right we got a normal size guy to contend with but then he's got six foot four three hundred twenty pounder Jacob Darby dad's Galway comes in at three hundred and thirty pounds little saw it off shotgun that can absolutely move some mountains then they've got six four three hundred thirty pounder Spencer Newman

29:15Terrell Davis six three three hundred A.G. Sheddy six three two ninety Brody Phillips six four three twelve so the shrink conditioning component should be able to show up for Oklahoma state in this ballgame our rotation should be too much for Murray state to handle for all four quarters but if we think we're gonna walk in there and we're just gonna run rough shot all over him from a defensive perspective because of what we did against Oregon I do think that they've got more than enough size and strength up front to make life at least interesting and complicated I mean they've even got a beast from Georgia state that I mean probably could have gone almost almost anywhere and then dad's Galway came over from Chattanooga so this is a team that is gonna need to be contended with KB boy coming over from Georgia state six five two ninety five

30:18so if we think we're gonna go in there and just push Murray state around and we're gonna move him all over the plate and we're gonna have three blitzers we might need to rethink that if there's one spot on the field that gives me a little bit of cause for concern it is gonna be primarily that Murray state size up front should we have more skill yes should we have more speed yes but from just purely size and strength they're gonna have some capabilities and we cannot underestimate them like we did Tulsa because as we discussed with Tulsa they had some six foot eight three hundred thirty pounders from Ole Miss and Purdue and A&M they had some of those guys and they ended up being a huge problem for us so does Murray state should we still win comfortably absolutely but if there's one spot that we get to see more of a test
