The language and dialogue, both internal and external, is one of my favorite parts of the book. Jocko does a great job at painting a picture of main character Johnny's reality, a dead end job and life. Today's episode highlights some of that dialogue as we get introduced to Gerry, the night manager of Maxi-Mart, a dislikable character and boss.
