The former bank branch at 96 Campbell Parade sits right across from the sand with a ground floor shop and six apartments above on a four. 130 square meter site. It has council approval for a 22 room hotel up to 15 meters tall, making a ripe for redevelopment. Previously owned by John Hems, father of hospitality tycoon Justin Hems, it sold in 2012 for $7.8 million, too. It's current owners. Developers and wealthy buyers are buzzing over this rare freehold commercial spot along the beach strip. Meanwhile, Sydney's parking crunch is driving big sales, too, as new rules cut spaces and offices in apartments from 0.21 per employee in two. 2014 to 0.14 last year. In the rocks, the Quay West Car Park with 598 spaces is up for over $60 million.

Wingate bought the leasehold in 2022 for $52 million, and is operated by Wilson Parking with lease's averaging 9. Years left. Over in Arterman, Goodman is transforming the old ABC TV headquarters into a 90 megawatt data center called SYD-01.
