Their promising right-handed tray Yes of Age will open the year on the injured list with a right shoulder impingement. The team shared the news on Thursday. Yes of age arrived at spring training already dealing with the shoulder issue, which slowed his pitch count build up. He tossed 35 pitches in a minor league game this Monday, but needs extra time with the regular season starting soon. Fans remember Yes of age's breakout last year. The 22-year-old climbed from single A ball to the playoff rotation, making five starts with 39 strikeouts over 27 and, two-thirds innings and a 1.05 WHIP. He even set a World Series rookie record with 12 strikeouts in game 5 against the Dodgers. He's lined up to throw again on March 25th. Just two days before the Jays host the athletics on opening day.
