Toronto Blue Jays pitcher, Trey Yessevaj, heads into the new season on the injured list with a shoulder impingement. The 22-year-old right-hander brought the issue to spring training, which slowed his preparation from the start. Manager John Schneider says Yessevaj feels much better now and will keep following his recovery plan. The team has no firm timeline for when he'll return to the mound. Yessevaj made a strong impression in his big league debut last September 15th. He went 1-0 with a 3.21 ERA over three regular season outings. He stepped up big in the playoffs too, posting a 3-1 record with a 3.58 ERA in six appearances that included standout starts against the Yankees and Dodgers.
