2:13The blue vehicle. Waiting down from the underworld with Mash Gangman, the friend of the unfortunate enemy of criminals. Mysterious, all powerful characters are problems to the police, but a true state of law in reality Dan Garrett, a rookie patrolman loved by everyone but suspected by none of being the blue beetle. As the blue beetle he hides behind the strange maps in a suit of intertribal blue chain armor, flexible as silk but scarier than silk. Today's episode of the Blue Beetle is entitled Deaths Greg from the East. In the city's Chinatown, Thunder the Orient are restless, uneasy.

3:14The police department expects war between rival tongues to break out at any moment. That is prepared. What is behind this uneasiness? Is it something that can turn only the Chinese or is there an accidental hand that works pulling the strings like a sand and puppeteer? As a truly open, the Cromandan Garrett, who in secret is the blue beetle, discusses the situation with his friend and confident doctor friends in his little apothecary job. In our best, we meet with our endless catter and pad to realize that you and I are only a few city blocks away from the Orient. You're referring to Chinatown? Yeah. I wish I knew what was going on, Donner. Do you think rival tongues were about to grow along each other? No, no. Then what do you think is causing this unreserved, the newspaper's tea cogs? Fair and resentments, resentment? Of whom? Of us, you mean the police? No. Quite great. So what have we done to them? We don't know less than. Now it isn't bad. I think there is some sort of a racket going on, Donner.

4:16Are you going to do anything about it? Well, I'm going to ask the chief to assign me to a beaten Chinatown. I used that to be careful, Danny. You could disappear down there, then no one would ever find you. Well, I'd be careful, all right. I've got a friend down there, a chanee. Yeah. The rest go and keep the lingua on. Culture gentlemen. I've heard this life one, and he's never forgotten, I imagine he could be very helpful. Well, I've got the run down the headquarters now. Maybe Managin and I can both get assigned to that district. Well, good luck to you, Danny Boy. Thanks, Doc. So long. The Coleman-Dan Garrett is headed for the Orient. You know what, Danny? If you're going to leave, I'll get more big fires down here in Chinatown. Why, Mike? There's never been so congested.

5:18I was a fire and you never going to get through here. Well, I'd be willing to bet if I should sound the siren on this car. We'd have a clear track ahead almost immediately. Here's a baby, she's certainly scattered in the hurry. Hey, what's that, Doc? That's a bunch of flashing up that Chinese restaurant. Come on, Managin. That looks like Ling-Wan. Hey. Hey, hey, hey, hey, you here in front of me. They offered a pleasure. Well, right now, right now. Where's the guy? What's on this? The whirlwind has struck. Who knows whether the whirlwind is going. Hey, what kind of track is that? The whirlwind's the ice with a bunch of whirlwinds. The whirlwind's one. Ah, my friend, the Angerabotl, Dan Garrett. After the whirlwind, the fate of the sun appears to spread light upon a dark and dirty theme. On the parade, the fate of the sun has appeared too late to be of any help to your Ling-Wan. That which has been is done. Yeah, but where's the law then we want to know who done it?

6:20Oh, Ling-Wan, this is my friend and brother of the Mike Managin. But that is later on, which is mine. It's honored by the presence of a friend, a bebrave, an Angerabotl, Dan Garrett. Well, no, wait a second, get the facts in this case. Before you let me talk with Ling-Wan Managin, you make a report on this. I've had a hunt something like this with happening in frequent leaves here in Chinatown. You say, Ling-Wan, that the merchants have pleaded to pay tribute on to the one you call a purple dragon. But by his merchandise to him, his shop is wrecked because yours was just not. That is through my friend. The purple dragon consoles the commerce of Chinatown. But what happens is the merchant still refuses to be with the purple dragon.

7:23That's to his place of business is wrecked. Some member of the family that appears. If it is an ender son, he needs a hatchet man in some dark sea. If a younger son, he has found fungles. If the merchant has only daughters, one of them is kidnapped and offered as a human sacrifice to please the Tibetan first godhead. You mean the famous? They're actually sacrificed. Cute? There is a ceremonial conducted by the purple dragon which includes human sacrifice. Before the ceremony, however, the distance here is cut off. And sent to her parents. If there's a special amount of money, it's best to be victim. If they leave, good lord Ling-Wan. Why don't the police come inform of this? One does not seek certain debts, need this death. The purple dragon spies on everywhere. Ling-Wan, you're taking a great risk in having me in your home.

8:27But I assure you something will be done and immediately in this state of affairs. Who is this purple dragon? If you have any idea, he must be a powerful oriental. There is a growing suspicion that that purple dragon is not avaliate. The path of yours. What? For white men? I am sorry to say it to my friends. But the people, well, damn Gerard is going to do something about that. And he's starting right now. I'd sworn to uphold the law to serve justice, to drive every crooked racket here from this city. This extortion racket must be smashed. Doc, I've never heard of such a tiendish method of extracting money from honest businessmen.

9:29And you say Ling-Wan believes the purple dragon to be a white man? That's right. He must be a very rich man. Yes, I imagine there are very few who refuse to pay tribute or those purchase their supplies through that truck well. So far, as you know, the purple dragon has confined his extortion activities to Charlie's merchants. Yes. I feel certain that this is operation's extended beyond the confined of Chinatowns. The police will have heard of it. I wonder what the answer is about. Well, just a minute, Doc, I'll buy a paper. Now, the Commissioner Warren's there, the kidnap. Here you are, life. Yes, sir. Thank you. F-A-X-T-R-E-D-O-O. Well, what do you know about this, Doc? Well, what is it, Danny? Commissioner Warren's daughter was kidnapped last night as she left her dance at the casino in Commissioner Warren. Yes, the Commissioner of Markets. I wonder what's back of that. The kidnapers can't expect to get much money out of Warren. He's not wealthy. No, and he's one of our most efficient officials. Please. You don't think, or what is it, Danny?

10:31I'm going over to Commissioner Warren's house to make a little investigation. Hey, we want a father. Someone just threw stones at the store window. Here it is. There's no time to it. Well, what does it say, Danny? There's devastating tornado descend upon an honorable place of business. If inquisitive but Coleman's Garrett extends nose into Chinatowns. And it's time the purple dragon. Let me see that note. Yeah. Apparently, it's written about a brush. That's a Chinese earring, yes. Yes, that's it. But it wasn't written by a Chinese. What do you mean? The Chinese writing is distinctive. The technique of Chinese brush writing is such that even if a Chinese were writing in English, the brush marks would be distinctively Chinese. This note was written by a man who at one time might have letered addresses on shipping cases. A shipping book, I would say. And that's very interesting, Doc. And the type of dragon, or whoever writes his notes for him, is a white man.

11:34One about this. No, spikes my gun. I can't endanger you and your billion hole. Don't be silly, Danny. Don't be silly. Your duty comes first. I can take care of things here. And just let somebody start something. There are things in my laboratory back there that will make them wish. They'd stay the way. Well, I've got to be going, Doc. Take care now and don't worry. I'm not going to Chinatown. My next call is in the opposite direction. Commissioner Warren, I've been assigned by the police commissioner to do a little investigating in this case. I'm glad you have my voice. I'd appreciate any information you could give me, Commissioner. I'll give you what I can. Have you any enemies? Yes, plenty of them. In my position, there are bound to be individuals and groups who resent my interference with the attempts to extort many from the firms that do business with the city.

12:36Oh, there is an extortion racket. Well, yes. At least I am convinced that many merchants are paying out money to protect their goods and places of business from destruction. And in Chinatown, for instance? Well, yes. How did you know? I have a friend in Chinatown. I see. Well, to be frank, with you, I've been conducting a quiet investigation down there. You think your daughter's kidnapping is in retaliation? By uncertain as is why. This note, they received it about an hour ago. Here, read it. The betting earth goddess is angry. You are interfering with her plans. Unless you cease your efforts, you will never see your daughter again. Find a pistol dragon. This note was written by a white man also. The bettardin, what did you say? Oh, I said this note to his return. No, no. Just please. Let me tell you the package for Annabelle Commissioner.

Might be a time bomb, a sun-type of thin sun in the machine that'll explode when open. It doesn't feel heavy enough. And he found a chicken. Nothing I can hear. You had to let me have that package all open. You stand over there. And be careful, Gareth. Orc had a fall to lose, meant like you, you know? Thanks, Commissioner. Well, here goes. What is it? A box full of golden hair. My daughter, her hair is that color. You don't think so? Oh, no, she's not dead yet. But something will have to be done quickly and I'm going to do it. Oh, what did the Commissioner have to say? He said the two most financially successful men last year were Roger Gillespie, the contractor, and a fellow by the name of Anthony Rondo. Gillespie seems to have made a fortune during the building boom last year, and Rondo's family. And then, last year, Rondo's apparently made a great success of the important business. Rondo's as a man, I'm sure of it. Was it learned that Warren's right? Yes, he recently bought the home. I know that for his guest, Danny. I know. I remember you visited the house secretly one night while you were making an investigation of bank-a-vide-leaf-frains' guests on the operating table. That's the place. Well, that'll be the bit of blue beetles first call tonight. How long, Doc? I'm going to the house.

17:55Yes, this is one of us. What's that? Not all of it, maybe. I won't be able to see you tonight. I'm going with some of the boys to a show. A Chinese mask of race. What? Well, I'm going as a football dragon. Yeah, is that something? Yeah. Yeah, well, goodbye. I gotta get going. A football. Yes, Mr. Purple Dragon Aliest, Tony Wander, Exportanist and Blackmailer, the blue beetles. Oh, your wife's to my record. I asked when I'm going to end your record tonight. That's what you think. But no one is going to end my record tonight. Or any other night. I will not bother to shoot. Your bullets can't pierce this chain arm or I'm wearing. The blue beetles. Oh, my bro. Good work, Wayne Powell. All the silicon cord tighter around the blue beetles next. And that's enough. He's gone under.

18:55Let him drop. Is the blue beetles dead? I don't know, but time up and forming the ball downstairs. Oh, here. Here's a hundred bucks. Fire's up in the open pipe. I'm going down the Chinatown. But that was necessary, but a part she's playing tonight. Part? What part? It's playing a part, the Chinese play. What sort of a game is this? My daughter's never nice. Let me out of here.

19:56I yet, my yet Commissioner, if you want to see your daughter again. Live. All right. What is it you want? A purple wagon, one cheater, is done as Commissioner of Market. What? Never. Where is CWON to protect the merchants of the city against the extortion like it? And I intend to do it. Better think it over, Commissioner. This part your daughter's play and this awful thing, here is. Come on, Commissioner. This is a place. Any go? Maybe you'll change her mind. When you see the play. I know. Meanwhile in his laboratory, Dr. Fern is working on some of his interesting experiments. Now let's see. OCC's of number 17.

22:58The strange power seems to hold the audience hypnotized as the curtain begins to ascend and reveals the large order in the center of the stage surrounded by lighted candles. Upon the order is stretched the bound figure of a white girl, shorn of her hair and clad in a white silk kimono. Embroidered with a large purple dragon. Before the order stands the gigantic Chinese, his head covered with a golden helmet and his face hidden behind a cruel hideous mask. His upraised hands clutched a two-edged sword. Back of him a group that doesn't sense muffled Chinese likewise mask. Suddenly, uh... My teeth, the fattened goddess, angry, the light into the house, occupied her will, go to the temple goddess must be appealed.
