🔴 Animoca Brands’ Mocaverse, MOCA Foundation, and TON Foundation execute strategic partnership; MOCA Coin and Toncoin token swap
Animoca Brands' Mocaverse has partnered with the MOCA Foundation and TON Foundation to create an identity and reputation-based consumer network. They executed a $20 million token swap between MOCA Coin and Toncoin to boost ecosystem growth.
Key initiatives include:
- Integrating the Realm Network SDK into the TON Blockchain
- Hosting co-branded hackathons and an accelerator
- Utilizing joint airdrops to incentivize participation
🔴 Mocaverse will use Animoca Brands' network to provide content to the TON ecosystem, integrated with Telegram Messenger's 900 million users. A steering committee will oversee partnership initiatives.
🟢 In the first half of 2024, over $1.9 billion was deposited into the Ethereum mixer Tornado Cash (TORN). However, deposits slowed to $65.1 million in July, according to Flipside. Tornado Cash's total value locked (TVL) has grown significantly, starting the year at under 160,000 ETH and rising to nearly 168,600 ETH. This increase, coupled with asset value growth, means the protocol's TVL in U.S. dollars has risen from $374.4 million to $572.82 million, as reported by DeFiLlama.
