The word karma comes from an ancient Hindu belief that, for obvious reasons, doesn't show up in the Bible. However, in Isaiah,

1:02we discover a karma-like principle. Isaiah tells us, say ye to the righteous that it shall be well with him, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. In other words, what goes around comes around. This truth is something I discovered at the end of every college semester. When finals came around, I felt confident and unstressed if I had studied. If I hadn't studied, I was a basket case, and I spent sleepless nights studying and preparing for my exams. What I had put out into the world, laziness, came around to get me. Sometimes our karma blessings or negative consequences are delayed. They don't always come immediately, so it could be hard to keep going when the rewards of our actions aren't immediately apparent. But the fact is, blessings will come to the righteous. They might not come today or tomorrow, but those blessings will come. So the takeaway of the day in five words or less is, blessings will come.
