It's March 2nd for the NBA. Let's get into it. Follow and subscribe for more team news every day. The Portland Trail Blazers took a hard hit with a 135-1-1 loss to the Atlanta Hawks at State Farmerina. It was their second worst defeat this season. Topped only by a 54-point drop to the Denver Nuggets about a week earlier. Playing the second night of a back-to-back after facing the Charlotte Hornets, less than 48 hours prior, the Blazers battled fatigue. And multiple injuries, that drained their energy from the opening tip, leaving them down by double digits right away. The absence of forward Denea Vedia hurt the most, as his steady presence could have provided much needed direction on both ends of the floor. With him out, the team struggled to find any rhythm early on. By Cresci faced his old Hawk squad for the first time, and scored 14 points off the bench, including a couple of three-pointers. Still, he posted a team low minus 34 plus minus rating, showing the Blazers fared poorly

whenever he was in the game. This blowout underscores Portland's challenges without key contributors, as they head into a tough stretch trying to regroup and stay competitive.
