Iowa beat Nebraska 40-16 on Black Friday, marking the Hawks 7th straight win against the Huskers in Lincoln, the largest winning streak against Nebraska since Oklahoma won 8 in row there from 1943-57. Mark Gronowski threw for 166 and a touchdown, adding 64 rushing yards and another two rushing TDs. The defense stiffened up after allowing Emmett Johnson to 177 yards in the first half.
