The Movie RX Podcast — Black Creek (2024) Movie Review. Machine-transcribed; use the interactive transcript above to jump the player to any line.
Hi everybody how are you doing today by talking about a movie called Black Creek. This is a movie I've been wanting to see for a while and it's finally on 2B TV. And Black Creek is actually a Cynthia Wathwark movie that she I believe she really produced it directly if I'm corrected but she mainly finds out what I heard about it so she heavily promote the movie a few years back and I finally get to see it and I can say it's on 2B or watch it right now and this movie is a much arts western movie very rarely get a couple of these much arts theme with the with the western theme over it and but when I see the movie to me it's like a remake of Lady Dragon in my opinion but the movie is about just going to come back to a town play by Cynthia Wathwark, found her brother's dead, his land is being owned by this barren evil land barren played by Richard Norton who's the villain in this movie
guess what you get like a Lady Dragon moment so she's pretty much gonna go after him and it's Gan that killed her family while this barren proudly owns the town that she lives in and she's gonna try and stop him pretty much with a hope of a few friends that will help along the way. All in all the story is basic you know like I said it's to me it's Lady Dragon it's a remake of Lady Dragon it's a set in the western ever in the wild west pretty much and um as for the martial arts scenes it's the martial scenes are good it's grounded you have a few martial artists you may recognize that that's also in the movie that gets spot in the in the film you also have um the found Balsine similar to Lady Dragon when she fights Richard Norton at the end with a good martial arts scene all of all all in all I thought Black Creek was the alright movie I mean it's not a bad movie like I said if you like Lady Dragon then you were like this movie also
so I said definitely check it out and again it's on 2btv so you can't be disappointed in that over and out
