This mess first happened at the end of March when she set out the bags on Sunday, March 29th, for Monday's collection. They sat there until Friday, April 10th, before a crew finally grabbed six bags. The council claimed they looked on March 30th, but saw nothing, and they'd already taken three bags earlier that week. She's feeling sick and by it all, especially since her grandkids have to walk past the stinking bags, risking infections. She pays her council taxes expecting basic service, but feels totally let down caring for her bed-bound husband who can't help himself. Now it's happened again. She put bags out on Sunday, April 26th, for Monday's pickup, and they're still sitting there days later. She emailed the council Monday, but got no response.
