The incident took place on March 12th on 20th Street. He faces charges of attempted murder and a firearm violation and was taken into custody the same day. The victim ended up in the hospital with life-threatening injuries. His identity hasn't been released and his current condition remains unknown. When Martiniar was booked into Jefferson County Jail, records listed a murder charge rather than attempted murder. That discrepancy has left some questions about the exact charges.
