Birmingham Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured

0:00From Birmingham, this is your March 21st update. A shooting broke out Friday night in East Birmingham, leaving one man dead and another seriously hurt. Police first responded to the scene and rushed the wounded victim to UAB Hospital. His injuries do not appear life-threatening. Soon after, a second man arrived at the same hospital on his own and was pronounced dead there. The two victims had planned to meet up with a pair of other guys at that spot. Police turned violent during the meet-up when gunfire erupted. Birmingham police have talked to the two uninjured men involved. One of them is now in custody as detectives work through the details. This marched the 10th homicide in the city so far this year.
