Birmingham Men Jailed for Stafford Drug Operation

0:00On March 13, two men from Birmingham have been sentenced for their roles in a drug supply operation targeting Stafford. Adam Bailey, age 43, got five years in seven months in prison after pleading guilty to involvement in supplying heroin and crack cocaine. His accomplice, Ray Arn Douglas, age 23, received a 180-hour unpaid work order to complete within 12 months for possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, cocaine, and heroin. They cased them from Staffordshire Police targeting a drug line known as the bee line. Last June, officers raided a property in Stafford's broad eye area and another in Aston Birmingham, seizing drugs, cash, multiple mobile phones, and related items. Both men were arrested on the spot, though they gave no comment during interviews. Douglas tried to grab an unlocked phone before police stopped him, and later analysis revealed messages offering the drugs were sale. All seized drugs, paraphernalia, and cash were ordered forfitted and destroyed.
