Two guys from Birmingham ended up hurt after a wild police chase in Colbert County last Friday night. It all kicked off around 11 p.m. on March 27th, when shares deputy spotted a suspicious car parked at a convenience store on U.S., Highway 43. To scumbia officers rolled in to help, but things escalated quick. The driver threw it in reverse, slammed into a patrol car, and that's when two cops spired their weapons. The suspect peeled out anyway, sparking a full-on pursuit. The chase wrapped up messy near Cedar Lane, an old cover bridge road. The car veered off the road, hit a ditch, and flipped over, leaving both the driver and passenger banged up bad. 29-year-old Tarverius Antonio Crawford was behind the wheel, with 28-year-old Kevin Morris Gamble riding shotgun. Medics rushed them to Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield for treatment.
