Pete Higgsith, the fiery U.S. Secretary of Defense, dominated headlines this week with back-to-back Pentagon briefings on Operation Epic Fury, the escalating war against a round that could redefine his legacy as Trump's hawkish war chief.
On March 19, according to Sky News transcripts, Higgsith delivered a blistering update alongside Joint Chiefs Chairman General Dan Cain, boasting that U.S. Stryce had flattened Iran's air defenses, obliterated over 7,000 targets including its defense industrial base and Navy, and slashed ballistic missile attacks by 90%. He previewed the largest strike package yet, equipping it takes money to kill bad guys, confirming the Pentagon would seek up to $200 billion from Congress, sustain the fight, and refill ammo stocks, as reported by Fox News. Sky News and YouTube live feeds captured his unneilding tone, objectives unchanged, Iran never gets a nuke, no quagmires like Bush or Obama Wars. The next day Fox News detailed Higgsith's raw vow to finish this, after honoring six fallen airmen at Dover Air Force Base with President Trump,
echoing families pleased to not waver amid grief over a KC-135 crash in Iraq. He slammed ungrateful European allies for dodging the Strait of Hormuz blockade, which spiked oil prices, and lashed out at a dishonest anti-Trump press for amplifying setbacks like Israeli strikes on Iran's South-Pars gasfield, which Trump publicly rebuked. Fox News quoted Higgsith calling journalists unpatriotic for questioning progress, insisting epic fury is laser-focused and decisive. By March 22nd, Morning Joe Clips showed Higgsith reiterating the $200 billion funding push amid reports of strikes on Iran linked militias in Iraq. On March 23rd, NDDV Profit highlighted Trump shifting Iran war onus to Hedsif, who faced democratic fury over Defense Department handling, but stood firm. No major public appearances or social media posts from Hedsif surfaced in the last 24 hours,
though his no-nation building pledge signals biographical weight for future histories. All in fill verified from Pentagon briefings, the Asky News, Fox News, and Network Footage, unconfirmed chatter on internal debates remain speculative or Fox reports. Thanks for listening, subscribe to never miss an update on Pete Higgsith and search biography flash for more great biographies. Thanks for listening. This has been a Quiet Please production. I'm Marcus Mark Ellery from the Quiet Please Network. Okay, real talk for a second. I used to be the guy who sat on a wall at so fat it was basically a throw pillow, like my chiropractor was judging me. Then somebody turned me on to distil union, and honestly it's one of those things where you go, why was I living like that? Distil union makes these beautifully minimal wallets, key organizers, phone accessories, stuff that actually solves problems instead of creating new ones.
Their walley wallets are insanely slim, magnetic closure, full green leather that gets better looking with age, which is more than I can say for myself. And their Ferris key organizer uses magnets to snap everything together so you're not jingling around like a janitor from a 90s sitcom. Everything they make is backed by a three year warranty because they actually stand behind their stuff. What a concept. Look, head to distilunion.com, the link is in the episode description, use promo code POINT and you'll get 20% off. And hey, your participation helps us continue to make content like this, so you're basically a patron of the arts. A very practical, well-organized patron of the arts, distil union. Less is more, trust me on this one. Quietplease.ai, hear what matters. Hi, this is Alex Cantrowicz. I'm the host of Big Technology podcast, a long time reporter and an on-air contributor to CNBC.
