Billy Crystal Honors Rob & Michele Reiner at Oscars

At the 98th Academy Awards, Billy Crystal delivered a heartfelt tribute to film director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michellea Singer Reiner. The couple, known for their work in movies and advocacy, passed away late last year. Crystal and Reiner shared a decades-long friendship that started on the set of All in the Family. They collaborated on classics like, When Harry Met Sally, This Is Final Tap, Stand By Me, and Misery. Crystal also praised the Reiner's for their key role in advancing marriage equality across the country. The audience erupted in applause during the emotional moment. Crystal wrapped up by recalling fun times on set, echoing a line from, The Princess Bride. Stars like Meg Ryan, Demi Moore, Kathy Bates, Kiefer Sutherland, and Mandy Patinkin, then joined him on stage. This led straight into the in-memorium segment, honoring others including Robert Redford, Val Kilmer, Robert DuVall, Diane Keaton, and Catherine, Ohera.
