About this episode
On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran goes over his biggest winners and losers on the heels of the Buffalo Bills opening the preseason with a 23-19 victory over the Indianapolis Colts this weekend at Highmark Stadium.
There was plenty to like about Buffalo on Saturday, including James Cook looking electric in his brief time on the field, a trio of unheralded wide receivers trying to make a name for themselves, a pair of offensive lineman showing some promise and of course, Matt Barkley playing himself directly into a QB2 competition.
On the opposite side, Kyle Allen continues to struggle badly this summer, a linebacker has completely out of any starting competition, Kaiir Elam doesn't really take advantage of an opportunity and Khalil Shaker showed why he's capable of making great plays but equally prone to unforced mistakes.
That and plenty more today.
