Bilal Zafar is an award-winning stand-up comedian who first broke through with a lastminute.com Best Newcomer Award for his debut show, CAKES. He’s now back with Rubicon, a multimedia, interactive hour with games, prizes and stories, promising a genuinely life-changing experience.

Bilal has appeared on screen in Catastrophe, Sick of It and Paul Feig's Last Christmas and to many people, he’s known best as a full-time football manager embroiled in scandal on his hugely popular Twitch channel. We discuss:

• diving headfirst into football management through Twitch in lockdown on Limmy's advice and building an audience through him
• the challenge of sustaining momentum after his 2016 best newcomer nomination, and carrying that history into this year's Fringe
• and touring his debut show Cakes, and filming it for YouTube years later when he had the resources to do so
