Rob’s son Christian had a huge weekend tournament but missed his “Big Shot” moment, with a smile on his face he joked about it with the media. We also jump right into the Nick Saban retirement news with Alabama alumni Robert Horry, who says he was shocked to see the legend move on. And every coach that got a raise due to the threat of becoming Saban’s replacement owes Nick a bottle of champagne! Plus we get Rob’s take on Austin Reeves being a possible trade option for Dejounte Murray, a move he’s not that excited about. And we haven’t had a better rant than Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic, who called out the NBA referees for “a complete crap” of a game against the Lakers, and enjoyed the hell out of Mike Brown bringing highlights to the post-game presser. Dwyane Wade’s state going up in Miami prompts a conversation about other superstars that deserve a statue that hasn’t gotten one yet. And the conversation about Bill Belichick leaving New England poses the question about whether he was only great because of Tom Brady.
