BIG EAST Legends Honored in Tournaments

0:00On March 3rd, the B-I-G-E-A-C-T conference revealed its third annual basketball legends program this week. All 11 member schools picked one stand out former coach or player from their men's and women's teams, totaling 22 honorees. These figures helped build the conference's rich history through big wins, records, and pro-success. Women's legends get their spotlight during quarterfinals on March 7th, M. O. Higgins, Santorina, and Unca'sville, Connecticut. For the men, recognition comes in each team's first tournament game at Madison Square Garden in New York City, starting with the first round on March 11th and quarterfinals on March 12th. League leaders are thrilled to celebrate these pioneers in modern stars, from early trailblazers to recent tournament heroes. Many went on to WMBA or NBA careers, earned all conference nods or hold school records and points, assists, and steals. Their stories highlight decades of grit and team pride.
