Big Baby Davis Out of Prison Early

Former NBA player Glenn Big Baby Davis is out of prison early after serving just 17 months of a 40-month sentence for defrauding the league's health plan. The 40-year-old was convicted for filing fake medical claims as part of a scam that involved more than 20 people and raked in over 5 million. Dollars in illegal cash. Davis got his sentence back in May 2024 but started serving it later that year. Prosecutors called it a straightforward fraud operation, targeting benefits meant for retired players, proving no ones, fame protects them from the law. Right after walking free on Thursday March 12th, Davis shared a quick video online celebrating his return and brushing off efforts to keep him. Locked up longer, his lawyer praised how he used prison time for self-improvement programs and said he's set to rebuild his life.
