The Biden administration has revamped its climate team, promoting Ali Zaidi to national climate adviser after Gina McCarthy announced that she is leaving her post at the end of next week. John Podesta, a former climate adviser in the Obama administration, will also join as the senior adviser for clean energy innovation and implementation.
